The special braided monofilament core and special harder outer later that handles the heat, while staying slick and keep your casting on point. 

The textured line offers quite a few benefits of it’s smooth counterpart. The texture is like dimples on a golf ball that run down the length of the line. It provides less friction going through the guides due to less surface area touching the guides, is higher floating and easer pick up as it has less drag on the water’s surface.
