Made by extruding a proprietary blend of clear polyethylene and advanced co-polymers over a monofilament core, the Liquid Crystal is virtually invisible in the water. The hard PE+™ coating has a supersmooth finish with an exceptionally low coefficient of friction so it shoots faster and farther than any conventional PVC floating fly line ever made. The coating is permanently fused to the monofilament core so there is no line stretch — for unequalled strike detection and instantaneous hooksets. Highly abrasion resistant and durable, Liquid Crystal comes in a flats taper for bonefish and permit (WF 6 - 9 F), and a tarpon taper (WF 10 - 12 F), each uniquely profiled for quick shots and accurate presentations with a minimum of false casting. Dual welded loops make changing rigs fast and easy.
